Bana chakra is the fifth of the Raga chakra. “Bana” means Arrow. Bana chakra represents the five Arrows of Manmatha. All the ragas of Bana chakra are Shuddha Madhyama (M1) ragas.

“Rudra” chakra corresponding to that of Bana Chakra has Prati Madhyama ragas (The ragas of Rudra Chakra have Prati Madhyama in place of Shuddha Madhyama and all other swaras remains same).
