All the ragas of “Netra” chakra are Shuddha Madhyama (M1) ragas. “Netra” means eyes in Sanskrit. The second chakra is named as “Netra” to depict two eyes of living beings.

“Vasu Chakra” corresponding to that of Netra Chakra has Prati Madhyama ragas (The ragas of Vasu Chakra have Prati Madhyama in place of Shuddha Madhyama and all other swaras remains same).
